<p>We’d all love seven days straight to play golf and dine out at the nicest joints and experience all the off-course entertainment the city limits of Myrtle Beach have to offer.</p>

<p>Alas, most of us can’t even begin to scratch that itch.</p>

<p>That doesn’t mean we can’t blow it out for two-and-a-half days and make some awesome memories in an abbreviated period of time. With just one weekend and limited considerations, you can get to the Grand Strand, play some terrific golf courses, snag a great meal or three, have some “play” time and be back home in plenty of time to be at the office on Monday morning.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>FRIDAY&nbsp;</strong><br>Let’s assume you can at least shave off a few hours from the duty list on Friday to get to Myrtle Beach before the sun goes down. Will you make a tee time? Probably not, unless you have a private jet.</p>

If there’s a game on, Carolina Ale House will have it on.</p>

<p>But if you’re looking for your own competition, you’re roughly 2.5 minutes away from one of the hottest golf-related non-courses venues around. <u><a href="https://topgolf.com/us/myrtle-beach/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TopGolf</a></u> still has the new facility smell and any one of its bays are perfect for the small golf group looking to let a little trash talk start early and get some quick hacks in before the real thing.</p>

<p><strong>SATURDAY</strong><br>We’re going to blend Saturday’s 36 holes between the old and new. But first, it’s time to pre-fuel.&nbsp;</p>

<p><u><a href="https://blueberrysgrill.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Blueberry’s Grill </a></u>opens at 6:30 a.m. and will get you geared up for a monster day on the links without weighing you down. While the steak and eggs or Breakfast of Champions might be your go-to, the omelets and skillet choices give you an appropriate amount of calories to get your cranked.</p>

Grande Dunes is much more playable, especially after some recent greens and bunkers renovations made the short iron game much more forgiving. Take advantage of those big shots, snag a quick bit in the renovated clubhouse and get moving to Course No. 2.</p>

<p><u><a href="https://www.mbn.com/courses/pine-lakes-country-club">At Pine Lakes Country Club</a></u>, players will transition quickly to a course that pre-dated Grande Dunes by seven decades. The area’s oldest track flashes its history year-round. However, unlike the morning round, Pine Lakes asks players to be a bit more reserved off the tee and think their way through the round. When the afternoon 18 is done, make sure you take a few moments to scoot through the historic clubhouse, one complete with the Myrtle Beach Golf Hall of Fame.</p>

<p>After a shower and shave, it’s time to dress for success. Or, in your case, one of the best meals the Grand Strand has to offer. <a href="https://www.seacaptains.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Seacaptain’s House</a>, like Pine Lakes, is an establishment fine-tuned over the course of decades. Whether you’re sitting inside &#8211; separated from the ocean breeze by a wall of windows &#8211; or right on the back patio, the food is perfectly prepared every time.&nbsp;</p>
