Caledonia Golf and Fish Club located in Pawleys Island opened in 1994 and has received many accolades for its beauty and southern charm. Ranked #27 in Golf Magazine’s 2014 “Top 100 You Can Play,” Caledonia is annually ranked as one of “America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses” lby Golf Digest.

When arriving at Caledonia Golf and Fish Club you are instantly made aware of its natural beauty with the live oak-lined drive that majestically leads you to the Southern-styled clubhouse.  Caledonia is known for having 18 signature holes, but one cannot forget the picturesque, par-4 18th that borders the plantation’s old rice field. With a forced carry over water to the green, Caledonia’s finishing hole afforts spectators the opportunity to enjoy a beverage while sitting on rocking chairs watching approach shots.

Caledonia is renowned by locals and frequent visitors for its superb restaurant – not only because of its stellar menu, but also its charming atmosphere.  Caledonia can boast having no homes on the course – just moss-draped oaks and streams that meander throughout the course.  The late Mike Strantz has designed a course that gained a reputation as not only one of the premier courses in the area, but in the United States.
