Arrowhead Country Club

One of only a handful of 27-hole layouts, Arrowhead Country Club sets itself apart from the rest with an award-winning design from the renowned Tom Jackson and World Golf Hall of Fame member Raymond Floyd. A popular repeat-play venue of vacationing golfers and locals alike, Arrowhead offers a masterful blend of Bermudagrass fairways and MiniVerde Bermuda greens, with several holes majestically set along the Intracoastal Waterway.

This complex offers three distinctly unique 9-hole designs (Waterway, Lakes and Cypress and Lakes) that showcase surprising elevation changes and some of the most meticulously groomed holes you’ll find anywhere. Arrowhead’s most notable holes are nestled along the Intracoastal Waterway. The par-4, 387-yard 5th on Waterway embodies its course’s name, as water runs the length of the hole’s left side. The par-4, 355-yard 4th hole on Cypress features a creek fed by the Intracoastal that dissects the hole both in front of the tee box, and in front of a green protected by multiple bunkers.

The National Golf Course Owners Association honored Arrowhead Country Club in 1998 as the “South Carolina Golf Course of the Year,” and the course has been repeatedly honored by readers of the Myrtle Beach Sun News as one of their “Best of the Beach.”
